WOW! I've been busy sewing, but haven't had a chance to post new stuff on the website. Keep your eyes peeled for lots of new photos soon - starting with the pink Campi dress. :)
Lots of stuff to update, just need to get photos taken and posted! The newest addition is my husband's Bocksten tunic, which I displayed at Atlantia's Kingdom Arts & Sciences in March, 2009. I'm pleased to have received a lot of positive feedback on the garment, especially considering it's my first fully hand sewn item. :) YAY!
A couple of new photos of the Campi working class Italian dress, showing off my silly straw hat that I purchased from The Wheat Goddess at RPFS in 2008. It really is just the most fun hat to wear! I've also updated the Historic Costume section with a writeup on my Effigy Corset and Corded Petticoat. Unfortunately, the only photos I have of these projects are in their unfinished state - but one step at a time, right? :)
OMG - an update! :) I do actually have some new projects to post - I just need to get photos and update the website. The most recent project that has been posted is the super-awesome Pink Ren-Faire-Tacular Ghawazee Coat, a fun little project that is very, very firmly in the Fantasy Costume category. :) In other exciting news - it looks like I'll be heading up to MD in May for Costume Con! Hope to see YOU (yes, YOU!) there! :)
I know - I've been gone a while! School has been taking up a ton of time. I've been working hard on getting my working-class Italian dress up to snuff, though - check out Campi, v2.0!
I added a new section to the website - Everyday Clothing. I added the Pajamas, Bathrobes and moved the Duro Dress to that section.
Updated the Fantasy Garb section with my Women's Pirate Coat. Arrrrgh!
