Updated to v2.0 with a few bugfixes and refreshments, an the usual update of the default content.
My sweetie and I like to try to attend the Georgia Renaissance Festival every year - and we usually go over Memorial Day weekend. If you've never been in central Georgia in late May, let me tell you: it's HOT. Hot and humid. Disgusting, really. So I decided I needed something cool and comfy - and this is what I came up with!
The bodice is made out of cotton brocade with matching gimp trim, and is lined in cotton twill. It's self-supportive, but I like to wear a bra with it anyway, just on the off chance the lacing decides to fall loose. ;) The skirt is a full circle, set onto two yokes and laces at the sides. It's fully open down both sides, and I have matching green 'harem pants' in thick cotton gauze. The turban is just scarves made out of the leftover fabric, with some *ancient* gold-toned fringe I scavenged at a thrift store.
