Updated to v2.0 with a few bugfixes and refreshments, an the usual update of the default content.
This is a pretty generic Renaissance Faire outfit - skirt, blouse, bodice and hat. The skirt is an absolutely scrummy plaid wool suiting with an amazing drape to it. Unfortunately, when I made the skirt, I was big on 'drawstring waists', so it has a natty drawstring waistband that is covered up by the bodice. Someday I need to fix that. ;) Because it's so full, I wear it as an underskirt under many of my other outfits for bulk.
The chemise is a basic raglan-sleeved chemise done in cotton gauze. I used the serger to overlock with black thread along the neckline and cuffs, which gives it a bit of a faux-blackwork look to it. It's a simple and easy way to really dress up a chemise.
The bodice laces at the sides and back, and is purely faire fantasy. I used 'faux whalebone' (aka cable ties!) for boning, and it's merely two layers of cotton duck. The cut is surprisingly supportive, though - I'm able to get great cleavage with this style.
The hat is just a basic black cotton velveteen flat cap. Nothing fancy, but it works.
